Foundation Routine for Acne

You’ve probably been faced with this dilemma if your skin is acne-prone: should you cover it or not? If you want to avoid making matters worse with makeup, look no further. Follow Kristen as she demonstrates how to use foundation products that are perfect for acne-prone, oily skin.

To create a base for makeup, start by cleansing and toning the skin. You’re now ready to moisturize. Kristen uses SkinMedica’s Ultra Sheer Moisturizer, which contains vitamin C and hyaluronic to help even out the tone. This oil-free moisturizer won’t clog your pores or worsen existing acne.

Kristen applies YOUNGBLOOD Mineral Primer to the back of her hands and then uses a foundation brush to apply it. This lightweight primer creates a smooth surface for foundation by reducing the appearance of fine wrinkles and pores. It’s also packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to protect your skin from the effects of environmental pollution.

Kristen uses Jane Iredale to disappear in order to conceal any blemishes. Use a camouflage stippling brush to apply a small amount to the cuts. Blend it with your fingertip. Green tea extract is included in this concealer to calm acne and conceal it.

Kristen primed her face and then applied Oxygenetix oxygenating foundation. This foundation is designed to let your skin breathe. Apply foundation with a foundation sponge. This foundation was created for those with sensitive skin. It is suitable for acne, rosacea, or eczema. This foundation is free from fragrance, oil, parabens and dyes. The product is also water-resistant and offers SPF25 protection.
