It can be not easy to find a fun, unique Halloween costume. This year, we dressed Jenna as an Alien queen! Discover how to achieve this simple Halloween makeup look using some funky, fresh, and new items!
Step 1: Makeup
Alien Queens are known for their silky smooth skin (with the help of our great skin care products, of course!) The first step to achieving a flawless complexion is the most crucial. Use a foundation with full coverage, such as the Jane Iredale Glow Time BB Cream, to perfect your face. Jenna chose shade BB1. However, there are ten gorgeous shades for all skin tones! The formula is rich in antioxidants and contains ingredients that are naturally hydrating, such as sunflower seed oil or apple extract. This helps to create a smoother skin texture.
The next step is to set the look. The Au Naturale Semi-Matte Powder Foundation, shade Porcelain, is perfect for this look because it doesn’t weigh down the skin and contains 100% natural ingredients. This allows the skin to breathe no matter where in the Milky Way you are!
Get extraterrestrial with contour! Jenna used BY TERRY Eye Designer Palette No. To sculpt and define the best features of her alien face, Jenna used 2 – Color Designer in deep purple. The Terry Eye Design Palette is a favorite because it has super-soft, blendable shades that are easy to apply and made with skin-loving minerals!
Jenna then chose Cosmo shades to enhance her eye color. She applied the Stila Suede Shade liquid eye shadow Violet Velvet in her outer corner. The blendable, lightweight formula glides easily on and provides a long-lasting, crease-free color. Jenna then used the BYTERRY Eye Designer Palette in light purple as a transition color.
Jenna created a star look by adding the Stila Suede Shade Liquid Eye Shadow Something Blue in her inner corner. She then chose the Jane Iredale PurePressed Eyeshadow Palette Storm Chaser for a softening of the edges and to add a subtle highlight under her eyebrows. The high-pigmented shades are antioxidant-rich and nourish the skin with essential botanicals and extracts.
After the eyeshadow has been applied, activate the warp and get lightspeed with an intergalactic sparkle! Jenna selected Stila’s Heavens Hue Highlighter shade Transcendence in order to add radiance to her cheeks and forehead. This light-diffusing, ultra-fine highlighter offers a transfer-resistant finish while adding radiance to any look. She added shimmer to her eyelids using the Stila Luxe Eye Shadow Palette Happy Hour shade Highball. These unique shades are ideal for the alien queen, as they contain silicone-treated micronized pigments. They can be easily built up and blended for maximum color and dimension.
Jenna then created a soft foundation by filling her eyebrows using the BYTERRY Eye Designer Palette No. The shade Light Purple is from the Color Design Palette No. 2. She added Stila Shimmer & Glow liquid eye shadow Vivid Amethyst to create a tacky foundation and hold the brows firmly in place. This rich color is buildable and adds a gorgeous shimmer to the brows for both daytime and nighttime. She used purple glitter as a final touch to give her brows a stardust-like dimension.
It’s now time to liftoff! Jenna used the Balm Schwing to add some fun shapes to her eyes. Black Liquid Liner. This ultra-matte, super-pigmented formula has a thin, tapered applicator that allows for a smooth application. It will last through the galaxy. Jenna finished her eyes with the Stila Magnum Mascara. It provides a buildable, clump-resistant volume and gently conditions the lashes using 1% diamond powder.
Jenna finished off her look with the Terry Lip Expert Matte Liquid Lipstick shade Purple Fiction, which provides a matte finish without drying out the lips. She also used the Stila Heaven’s hue Highlighter in Transcendence to add some lip-loving radiance.
Jenna finished off her look by adding some stars inspired by space to her cheeks with the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner Snow. This smudge and run-proof formula has an easy-to-use pen tip applicator to ensure precise application. She then embellished her look by using the Jane Iredale PureBrow Brow gel as “glue.” This mineral-rich formula was ideal for sensitive skin and kept her jewels in place.
