This Halloween, spiders will be all around you. You can now incorporate this creepy element into your costume. You can become the Spider Queen for Halloween by following these simple instructions.
Start by applying your favorite concealer and base to achieve a uniform tone. Then, add your blush of choice to give it a little color. Apply primer around the eye area, as the eyes are the focal point of this look. We used Jane Iredale Lip Primer, which keeps your makeup in place throughout the night. Draw a thick, white line along the creases on your lids using a white eyeliner such as Jane Iredale Pencil.
Take a silver shimmery shadow and pat it gently over the white eyeliner. The pigment must adhere to the eyeliner without slipping off. We used Jane Iredale 24-K Dust Silver. Cover the lower half of your eyelid with a dark gray or black shadow, such as La Bella Donna Mineral Eye Shadow Caviar. Use a soft brush to blend the color into your crease.
Use a liquid black liner to create the illusion of spider webs. We used a liner brush and drew six to nine parallel lines from the crease to the brow bone. Connect the lines to form a web. This same liner can be used to darken the lash lines. Finish off with black mascara, such as Glo Mineral GloLash Lengthening Maskcara.
Please keep it simple with a matte lip color and a high-shine gloss, or go for a matte black. You can complete the look with a black dress and spider webs in your hair.
