This scarecrow outfit is a great option if you need a quick Halloween makeup look. It’s also festive and fun. This video will show you how to make this easy costume using everyday makeup.
Use a beautiful orange eyeshadow after applying your foundation. We used Jane iredale Peach Sherbet. Use a black eyeliner like bareMinerals Long-Wearing Black Eyeliner on your upper and lower lashlines.
Draw long lower eyelashes of varying lengths using a gel pen, like Liquid Eyeliner, on both eyes. Do not worry about matching lashes on both sides. To add definition, apply a liquid eyeliner over top of the gel. Finish off with two coats of volumizing mascara. bareMinerals Lash Domination Volumizing mascara was used for this look.
Apply the scarecrow on your nose. Draw a teardrop on your nose using a lip liner that is pinkish-orange, such as bareMinerals’ Marvelous Moxie Lip Liners in Energized. Fill in the shape with the lip liner. Apply a pink eyeshadow or an orange one over the lipliner. This will make the color pop. Outline the patch with your black eyeliner and make small stitches in the outline to create the appearance of a sewn-on patch.
Take the lip liner again and draw a circular shape on each cheek. Fill in the circle with eyeliner. Use a pink eyeshadow or an orange eyeshadow to make the color more vibrant. Use the black pencil to trace the circles, and then add stitch marks.
A lip liner in orange or red will look great on your lips. We used the same shade of pinkish-orange for this look. Fill in your lips using a lipstick of a similar shade, such as bareMinerals Amazing Moxie Lipstick Go the Distance. Draw a line with your black eyeliner from the corners of the mouth to your cheeks, and then add more stitches.
This not-so-scary makeup is perfect for Halloween. Pair it with a straw cap, a flannel t-shirt, and overalls that have hay in the pockets. Enjoy!
